getting-knitfaced:

So did I ever actually post this? (Yes the sleeves actually are the same length, this is just a wonky photo.) This is the Shifting Sweater. I finished it like a month ago. Totally been wearing it even though I haven’t even washed it and it definitely needs blocking. I’ll probably do that today so that it’s wearable in public when I go home next week OOPS I JUST REALIZED THAT’S QUITE THE TIME CRUNCH, BETTER HOP TO IT.

Sock update: Marilinda back in progress, one Tribute sock done, and a manky Ur-Monkey that I use to size all the other socks for mum and aunt. (Very convenient that they have the same size foot!) My mother loves the Monkey pattern, so I’ve done at least three pairs in different yarns, and when I nicked this one for my foot template, I had to knit a second pair in the same yarn to replace it. SOCKS.

It’s that time again! Here is another terrible picture of my knitting (I really need a better camera). This is the Lover’s Knot Afghan which I made for my husband. It took exactly a month to finish. And now I have started blanket making madness since my kids both want one. I’ll never get them done in a month, but I’m hoping to be finished by Christmas.
I also really want to get started on some sweaters for myself that I’ve been dying to have, but with school starting this may be my last finished project in a while. :/
